Help us bring “The Arts”…music, dance, drama and art classes…
back to Jefferson High School and the Jefferson Cluster.

The rooms are empty…just waiting for the sound of music to return.

A message for our community.

In many of Portland’s schools, arts education has all but disappeared, creating a void in our students’ lives.  Putting these programs on the back burner as funding has disappeared, has stripped the youth in our community of the many skills, and opportunities that come with participating in music, dance, drama and the whole world of creative arts.

Many can remember when Jefferson High School’s marching band was the one we came to see in the Rose Festival Parade.  Or the choir that used to rock Jefferson’s stage.  Or the plays and musicals that pulled in the entire community. And the hallways and  classrooms filled with every kind of art project.

The Rose City Music Festival is a critical first step.

This extravagana will focus on music, dance and art, with all proceeds going to restart the arts programs at Jefferson High School and the Elementary and Middle Schools that are part of the Jefferson cluster.

What are we waiting for?

We invite you to partner with us as co-spirits in this exciting mission and we sincerely thank you for your support in advance.  We know that by working together we can make this an incredible success story for our kids!
